In addition to being a Fellow and co-editor at the Lab, Andrea is an associate editor at the journal Lo Squaderno, Explorations in Space and Society and a Researcher at DINÂMIA'CET-IUL - Centre for Socioeconomic and Territorial Studies. His book, 'Controlling Urban Events. Law, Ethics and the Material' is out with Routledge.

Andrea's research at the Lab focussed on conceptualising the relation between law, space and control in the contemporary city. Through this lens, he explored various topics: the telluric effect of mega event on the urban space, the spatiality of urban protest, the urban dimension of food, the conflictual encounter between city and wilderness.

 

He is interested in organising trans-disciplinary workshops, art exhibitions, gastro-nomadic tastings and many other things.
