AURELIA YUEYI

GUO

Aurelia is a critical and interdisciplinary legal researcher and writer and a current 4th-year Graduate Teaching Fellow and PhD candidate at The City Law School. As of January 2020, she is also an Associate Lecturer at the School of Law, Oxford Brookes University.

 

Her doctoral thesis, 'The Melancholy of Law: Punishment, Property and Race in the Poetry of Vanessa Place'  is currently being supervised by Lab co-director Andreas Philippopoulos-Mihalopoulos, in addition to Dr Grietje Baars at City Law School.

Aurelia's research interests include conceptual writing, art/law, law and literature, law and psychoanalysis, Criminal Law, Property Law, critical legal studies, socio-legal studies, and critical race theory.

Aurelia is a current PhD student at the Westminster Law & Theory Lab.
