PAUL
TREICHL

"Paul is an Austrian critical biodesigner and spatial practitioner working across theory, research, and education. His work materialises through biodesigned artefacts, publications, exhibitions, and pedagogical frameworks that translate complex planetary ecological systems into public and institutional contexts.

His practice explores the entanglements between built and natural environments and the multispecies ecologies they sustain and originate, with particular attention to care, maintenance, and more-than-human co-design.

He is currently researching Multispecies Maintenance as a framework for regenerative longevity in the built environment, examining its implications for spatial justice, policy, political economy, and architectural practice across deep time.
Paul is a Fellow at the Westminster Law & Theory Lab.
